Greetings all!
I just discovered this site and it’s full of talented composer!
As a game developer, I would like to know which is the best license for a commercial game.
After reading the license details, my first guess will be Music Mass Reproduction because it has no limit on digital sales compared to the lower license.
Anyone have the same experience or some feedback?
I’m really appreciating any help!
Thank you very much,
Goody
Hello,
Indeed for games, the Music Mass Reproduction is usually the best choice. However, if you know that you won’t sell more than 10 000 copies of your game, then the Music Standard license would be enough.
Hope it helps

Hello PurpleFrog!
Thank you very much for the answer
Is there any written rules or F.A.Q. somewhere on the site on how to proceed if someone bought a Music Standard license and the sales goes through 10.000 copies? I’ve been trying to find it with no luck.
Thank you once again for the help
Aaahh my bad!
I guess the answer to my own question is the simple
Contract is terminated, and the music should be removed.
You can indeed upgrade your license in such a case. You would have to go through support to do that.
