Good news )

Hello. I have a question:

We’re not looking for templates simply with spinning iPhones here. These are not iPhone commercials!

Currently 95% of all products in App Promo section are just that!

For this contest do you allow Real Footage with After Effects post production - text and images holders, features, effects, green screen for the app and right keyed and tracked?

Product like these two:

Yep, that’s exactly why we’re looking for something different here with these new submissions

Yes indeed, in fact there is even a $1,000 Bonus Prize for the After Effects project with the best use of included video footage!

Remember that in order to be eligible, any included device footage must be pre-keyed and motion tracked for easy screen image/video replacement.

Hi, I also have question:

Any included device footage must be pre-keyed and motion tracked for easy screen image/video replacement.
I understand that if project have any included device footage must be pre-keyed and motion tracked but Is it(device footage) required?

That is correct, including footage is not required to be eligible, but there is a nice bonus prize for use of footage in your item

Hi this is my entry:

Hey @Premiumilk! Great start, but your project doesn’t currently meet all the eligibility requirements for this event:

The template must make use of gesture indications (e.g. tap, double tap, scroll, swipe, pinch & zoom, etc). These can be animated or real/filmed hands, or any other pre-animated graphic representation.

Remember apps are meant to be interactive and used in many different ways, and so the app promo videos we’re looking for here need to be able to effectively showcase this. While using some static screenshot placeholders can be okay at highlighting basic app features, they don’t really let you show how the app actually works or is used. By making use of gesture indications, the promo video will be able to better help buyers showcase how people can really use and interact with their app.

Still plenty of time to update your item or create something new if you plan to enter!

This is my updated entry : http://videohive.net/item/flat-app-promo/11073220

Our entry #1 - Handify : http://videohive.net/item/handify/11170777

Although it might be a bit general template (not just app promo) but it is something new and fully modular, therefore users could make up their own sections in there (app features, supported cities etc.).

Hello! I would like to clarify! The project must be unloaded until May 26 or it should be in my portfolio until May 26? Design verification time is taken into account in the timing? Thank you!

Hello. Am I allowed to create and animate iOS 8 default style icons like arrows, buttons, keyboard etc, and include them in the project file?

At Last !! I had a rant about this a while back

Can we see the entries on a separate page or do we just keep our eyes peeled ?
We have just took our App video needs to market for some custom work - we are creating 3 videos for 3 different Apps and its a real disappointment when there is nothing worth buying in this marketplace - I buy HTML files, Images, etc etc from Envato - but the Video templates !! they are awful, unusable, its a shame as i know its super clever and hard work but when the end result misses the point of why a potential buyer would need it, its just poor storyboarding. App Demos must be the poorest selling genre of templates in a world thats obsessed with Apps and the mobile web.

I’ll try and stay positive that this competition brings in some quality but I will be surprised if i see it.

I should be a judge and you know it !! lol
