What We’re Looking For
We’ve recently elaborated on our item preview policy for Motion Graphics to allow for presentation-style video previews. In fact, not only do we allow it, we’re here to challenge you to make the best presentation-style preview videos yet! We’re looking for new Motion Graphics items that take their preview video to the next level and showcase their amazing items in an equally amazing way.
Presentation-style preview videos can contain mixed media and assets, highlight key information about the item and clips, and show examples and mock-ups of the motion graphics in action as they might actually be used (e.g. overlaid with other footage clips).
Viewers should be able to get a clear sense of the usefulness and quality of your item simply from watching the preview video. That being the ultimate goal here, items will be judged solely on quality/effectiveness of the preview video.
Additionally, in order to be eligible:
- Motion Graphics items must contain at least 10 individual clips/elements. Simple variations such as alternate colors to do not count toward this total.

It’s a Contest!
This Envato’s Most Wanted is a contest. And like any contest, you don’t want to be disqualified because you didn’t follow the rules. So as well as carefully following the procedure below, make sure you read the in full!
Here are the key details:
- Upload your items to Envato Market on or after Tuesday, March 10th and before the competition closes on Tuesday, April 7th at 23.59 AEDT time.
- The winning files will get a share of $2,500.
- The winning files will be featured in a marketing email campaign.
- One top winner will be a "Featured Item" on the VideoHive homepage.
- All winners will receive the much-desired "Won a Most Wanted Contest" badge.
- The event is open to all new Motion Graphics items on VideoHive.
- An author can enter as many items as they wish.
- Multiple submissions from the same author must be different to one another.
- An author can win multiple prizes but only for different items.
- An author can win a maximum of two (2) "Best Item" prizes.
- Eligible items must have a presentation-style preview video.
- Eligible items must contain at least 10 individual clips/elements.
- Final eligibility of entries is determined by Envato staff.
- Envato staff to judge "Best Item" prize winners.
- “Best Item(s)" will be evaluated solely on the quality/effectiveness of the preview videos.
- Prizes are payable only via PayPal or Moneybookers/Skrill.
- Only new items uploaded to the site within the contest time period are eligible.
- The entry deadline is based on the date of the final submission/resubmission leading to the item's approval on Envato Market. Not the date of final approval.
We’ll announce the winners a week or two after the event closes, and send out the prizes two or three weeks after that. So, let’s get started. To be in the running, follow our procedure to the letter!
How to Enter Your Items
- Upload your items according to the normal upload instructions.
- Make sure to follow the Motion Graphics Submission Requirements
- Upload your items to the relevant Motion Graphics subcategory on VideoHive
What to Do After Your Items Are Approved
Once your items have been approved, do the following as soon as you can:
- Complete the Most Wanted Entry Agreement. By doing this, you agree to keep any winning entries online for a minimum of two years.
- Post your approved entries in this forum thread.
