ListingPro Bug Report

ListingPro’s “Features” function does NOT and has not worked for over a year. We’ve tested it on several of the 2.x.x versions.

It not only doesn’t save and display new feature, it also erases features when you update the features in an existing listing.

Since there was a message about it in the support forum in 2024, they know about but apparently have not fixed this issue.

IF there is a known fix, I need to know what it is immediately. I say immediately because I am on a very tight schedule. And MUST resolve this as soon as humanly possible..

If it can’t be fixed in the next couple of days, I’ll have to move all 4 of my current and any future directory sites to a new theme.

Thnx for the reply. The post is based on a msg I sent to Cridio via their website.

I post in the forum in the hope that someone there knows how to fix the issue.

My tech support staff thinks the problem might have something to do with putting both the tags and the featured in the same WP database database table.

You won’t be able to find a free solution here. Envato forums are not for item support but for general issues.

I was afraid of that. Which is why I mentioned that there was a post about it last year.

I mentioned that we had tested several of the 2.x versions.

What I didn’t say is that the tests were done in a fresh WP install with only ListingPro and its required plugins. So, there was no possibility of a conflict with anything else.

To me, the fact that it’s been posted about before and doesn’t work in a fresh install makes it a known bug that Cridio should have addressed by now.

You need to discuss the item details/bugs with the item author. If you’re looking for paid/urgent support, it’s another case that I could offer paid service.
