Item got rejected.

HI fellow authors,

I have recently had my item got rejected. It’s my third atempt. My first attem, the item got rejected due to me not following instructions and i am totally a newbie to this market. i get it, it was my first time with little research in how to do this. Couldn’t resubmit again. i developed another theme, this time with alot of reaserch in how themeforest works, following the instructions carefully, submited. After 17days on que, they reviewed and sent me this message…

After that, i have added the Demo url and i also added the preloader which wasnt working at first. I ave resubmited the item again, clearly describing what i have done in the reviewer message box. Unfortunately, this time around it got rejected indefinately. They sent this message…

This theme will never get accepted as it is now: typography is bad with inconsistent use of fonts, the whole design looks outdated. You should check some more recent accepted submission to get perspective on what type of design is currently accepted, and learn more about the typography.

Thanks for your response. Other than typography what do you suggest i should change? I am new to the themeForest market.

With respect:

  • typography is awful

  • scroll does not feel right

  • layout and style has been done a thousand times before here

  • needs a lot more features, functionality and originality

  • design needs a lot of modernisation

  • fundamental design features like spacing, hierarchy and styling all need work throughout.

  • portfolios don’t go to light box or item pages
