Is CodeCanyon Still Alive? Last Announcement Was Nearly a Year Ago...

I’m wondering if anyone is still actively managing the marketplace. The announcements section hasn’t had a real update since October 2024, and we’re in August 2025. No updates on campaigns, nominations, or even the Free File stuff. It just feels like everything’s on autopilot now or even worse, abandoned.
How do you guys feel about this?

sad, but it is what it is

According @BenLeong @KingDog Envato is just focusing on Elements. This is ok because this is bringing enormous benefits to all authors (despite no numbers or statistics are shared).

Codecanyon and Themeforst are practically perfect, no need to update the businesses model or implement any kind of piracy protection. Earnings are so high that there is no need to make some efforts to improve anything.

It si on autopilot at this point…, just a vesel for Elements, how did it come to this for me is a puzlle, is like intentionally Envato wants to fail!

We are currently only running Free File promotions on WordPress themes, so that’s why you haven’t seen any call outs for submissions on CodeCanyon.

Interested of distributing free files, would not be better to update the businesses model (like Yith or WooCommerce Market) or start introducing some piracy protection or a more reliable licensing system?

Thank you for your reply, however, this confirms that CodeCanyon is on full autopilot mode…

Last announcement in Audiojungle was from July 12th 2024, and sharing not exactly good news. Seems like the markets are mostly Element’s uploading platform.
