I uploaded my first WP theme and got soft rejected … need help and suggestions for improvements
I’ve got a soft reject for my first WP theme. Its cool, but I want to have it approved))
Thats what I’ve got in the message
“Unfortunately, WordPress has higher standards in terms of aesthetics. Your design has an interesting starting concept, but it needs significant improvements in terms of aesthetics and attention to details. As higher quality items become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality. While I’d be able to provide feedback as to how to get this approved, I can only do after it has crossed a certain threshold, quality wise.”
Please, help me to understand what I can improve.

I think you need to improve your item design quality cause they said As higher quality items become available in the marketplace

We have the same reason, soft reject… and you get 2 - 3 time again soft reject if you don’t make it high quality.

Your errors:

• Problem spacing

• Padding/margin

• Bad colors (I think)

• You need design better premium for approved themeforest

• Need hover buttons or give effects.

• Also need hover gallery give effects.

• Errors sliders owl carousel.

Remember: You need fix all pages but not single page error, also responsive mobile, ipad and desktop. And also check all broswers (chorme, firefox, opera, safari, ie, edge)

Now a days it is not important about HTML approved it is depending on design! It will fit for wp or not.
They said that more good design is already exist on marketplace you have to make it more higher quality.

Search page with any query always returns the same fatal error, f.e. http://demo.adobitheme.com/sulfix/?s=test

Plus, as I can see, hired WordPress developer merged two own themes (one, two) to create your, cause structure, design and some basic functions are the same.
