I had a question about how to post a new production of old songs, like Christmas songs

Hi guys, I have heard Jingle Bells, and other Christmas songs on Audio Jungle, so I wanted to upload my version of Jingle Bells which it contains a Piano line and Bass, but when I was filling the uploading page, I was suddenly faced composer part, and I didn’t know if I have to write James Pierpont (1822–1893) or just leaving it blank, because I don’t know how it works. I would be glad if you guys can tell me about this.

Leave it blank. Just make sure the song you’re covering is public domain, as not all Christmas songs are.
