Hi,
I tried to generate a Envato API Personal Token for a theme that I downloaded with my student account but I keep getting ACCESS DENIED.
I cleared the cache and changed also the browser, loged in and out many times but still getting ACCESS DENIED
I found a similar post but it doesn’t have an answer to my situation.
I need your help guys!

Unfortunately you cannot create a personal token for items downloaded with Envato Elements.
The reason you’re receiving an access denied error is because you don’t have an Envato Market account, which is what the API is for. But even if you created a Market account, the personal token that you created would not work for an item downloaded on Envato Elements.
You should be able to use the theme and all of its features without entering a personal token.

The main reason for this limitation is simple – activating a theme should only enable automatic updates, which Envato Elements does not support due to the nature of the subscription.
