I am from Liberia once you do any payments you will be locked out trust me and you will not have access to your account
I joined evento over 5 years and I soon as I make my first purchased I got locked out of my account and I got an automatic mail with cause 55 as a reply for blocking my account

Did you send this complain to the support department as at the time it happened? If you did, what was their response?

Moderators don’t have access to account details and so we cannot comment on their specific circumstances. I don’t think it really matters though.

I had my Amazon account locked the other day after placing an order. I’ve been a customer with them for 10 years so it caught me off guard. I did manage to get it back, but not very quickly.

The point is, all companies have fraud systems and will lock accounts when things look suspicious from their end. You can search for this type of behavior from just about any online company and you will find plenty of similar stories.

Just be accurate and honest when filling out any forms, and you should be fine.

In my own case, I don’t have access to paypal payment gateway in my region. I am thinking of using a paypal account of one of my siblings who lives in Canada. I hope this won’t arouse suspicion and lead to my account being blocked? I want to purchase some products but I don’t have any other means of payment as you are limited to Paypal.

I don’t have inside knowledge on this process so I can’t give you a definitive answer.

However, I think it’s definitely a good idea to ask support before placing an order with billing details that aren’t yours, and from an entirely different country at that.

It may be better to have your sibling make an account and purchase the item for you.
