How much does support cost on its own?

Right ok I need some help to understand this.

Item cost £30
You get the script
Included: Quality checked by Envato
Included: Future updates
Included: 6 months support from author

And you can pay extra
Extend support to 12 months $9

Ok what am asking is if I want to pay for 6 months support will it cost me $30 again? In the future

I can’t find a 6 month package and cost.
Also the extended license why does it cost

Extend support to 12 months $45

Even though it will be the same support? Surely it should cost the same. What is the difference of support for $36

Ok thanks. Where do I buy support from then

All I can see if the item price and to add extra support to 12 month

Will it cost me to price of the item and updates again just to add 6 month?

Ie

Price for item, free 6month support, updates, evnato check quality = $30 add extra 6month to make it 12 months support $9

After I paid $30 for all above I have to pay for it all again? Just to add 6months

After 6months how much will support cost??
Or even if i want to pay for 12 months support How do i buy it?

If i already own a regular license do i have to buy another regular license just for the6 support?

You get 6 months free support once you buy an item as per the new support policy.

Now, here is the explanation about the pricing.

  1. If you purchase support at the time of purchasing an item, it will cost you 30% of the item listed price. So for $49 theme it will cost $14.70

  2. If you purchase support during your 6 month free support period, it will cost you 50% of the item listed price. So for $49 theme it will cost $24.50

  3. If you purchase support after expiry of your 6 month free support period, it will cost you 70% of the item listed price. So for $49 theme it will cost $34.30

So, if you want to save, its better to buy first. :slight_smile:

as I shown in my last post all i can see the item regular license cost.

The support price gets added automatically once you check Extend support to 12 months

And then you can proceed to buy.

Make sure you read “What to expect from support”

I don’t think you can buy anymore time than the 6 months extra (so 12 months) at the moment, they won’t be able to be bought until December(?) ish when Envato launch them
