Hi, I’m looking to buy background music and SFX for my new game. Can you please explain how the licence works for this? I see instructions about the track downloads but what about app downloads and all? Please help.
The most common license for video games music is the Music Mass Reproduction, which allows unlimited copies or downloads of the game/app (unlike the Music Standard License which has a 10,000 limit on these), distributable through any media platform or make it available online with unlimited Internet views.
If you are going to use the SFX in only one game, then the standard license will do. If you are thinking of re-using those sounds in future projects, you will need the Multi-Use License.

Hope it helps and best of luck with your upcoming game!
Perfect. That makes things clear. I don’t want any caps on the download and it’s just one game for now — Music Mass Reproduction seems ideal. Thanks a lot @WormwoodMusic! Appreciate it.
