I am unable to activate licenses I’ve purchased for JNews theme. They say it is due to an ongoing Envato Maintenance on the API. Every time I click approve when activating the them, I get sent to:
Which shows a Cloudflare error page"
Bad gateway Error code 502
Is this an issue with Envato or the Theme publisher. This has been going on for over a week.
Envato API was down time at 26th but it’s working fine for the last few days. I’m guessing the author’s website has issues. Contact them.
I’m not sure what else to do at this point. I’ve paid for two licenses of this theme. The author keeps saying it is an issue on my end. I’ve used numerous VPNs to try to log into their support forum and also trying to activate the theme on my development site and every time I get this error, BAD GATEWAY and showing the issue with with the host. So now I have a theme I can’t develop with since I can’t activate it on my development site and can’t log into their support forum for help.
Support.J website works fine on my end, if you’re not able to reach the link/website, it means there’s something wrong with your connection/IP ( try to login with different IP )
I’ve tried from different ips (wifi in two different states) and multiple VPNs. Same Cloudflare error if I try from my laptop or my phone. I just tried again on my phone connected to cellular, not wifi and got the same error.
That link works fine when I click on it as well. I only get the bad gateway after clicking the green login button, getting sent to Envato’s page, and then clicking approve which sends me back to the JNEWS page.

You probably missed the configuration at Envato token. For temporarily, you can give all of the permission and try again to see if it works. If not, just send the video to the item author and manual activation
Where do I give all the permissions for the Envato token? I’ve sent them the video and am waiting on a response from them.
