I’ve been an author here for quite a while (since 2009), and while I’ve had my share of ups and downs in regards to sales, I’ve been tempted to switch to Non-Exclusive and try other marketplaces. My question is this: Have any other Themeforest authors made the switch to Non-Exclusive? If so, was/has it been worth it?

I have seen few authors that they are selling their items on their website as well. It depends on the other market sales as well.
When you change it, you’d get half commission ( considering that you’re getting 70% ) if you sell twice, it’d be the same but as I stated, it’s about selling. You could try worst case and if you don’t like it, you could go back to be Exclusive author again ( remember that these changes don’t effect immediately, I believe there’s a 30 day waiting period )
