Can someone help me with a link or send me a personal email…I had someone build my site and because of that I haven’t a purchase beside my themeforest account name…
I have the purchase code and would like to have it added to my account if possible?
Thanks!

you can contact with her @ki-themes here
Unfortunately this won’t be possible - transferring items (regardless of having the p/code) is against membership t&c s
Just wonderful…I buy something through my site builder and then don’t own it? So what you are implying is in order to get support I need to buy the theme again?!
Well, I gather from the lack of response that I am wasting my time…in normal situations not allowing my purchase to be added would be classed as unlawful…I own my license but can’t utilise the fact because my web designer bought the theme with her details of which I have because she wanted me to have access to support…
The author has been very helpful but the general way things are done here leaves a lot to be desired…
I won’t be buying any other themes on the priciple that unless I purchase them with my details they don’t belong to me…
Anyone would think I was asking for the moon…strange way to do business…alienate the customer because of a technicality…
You can email support https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and see if they are able to help but historically this has not been an option.
Just for reference you can transfer the license i.e. the license to ‘use’ the item from your developer to you. It’s only the support and download of updates etc. that can’t be migrated.
For what it is worth I agree it’s not convenient. Although I see zero reason why a developer would buy an item and not have the client do it (unless they are planning on misleading them). But at the same tie I completely see why Envato do it - regardless of how honest most situations are, the ability to do this would open up opportunities for less genuine cases to exploit it.
It’s also the same on other marketplaces and not an exclusive issue here, and I suppose (having bought more items than most people here) , if it’s not a policy anyone is happy with then we shouldn’t agree to the T&Cs when signing up/buying

Hi charlie4282!
I understand and do realise why they do what they do and yes I have the theme and the author has given me an updated version…but it is a pointless exercise if I don’t receive updates in the future…I will get intouch with them which I do thank you for…
I have the purchase code and when it was bought and can even get my developer to send an email to the effect that I have purchased the license it is just her details that have been used…support is important and updates very important otherwise you have a site running on old php etc…sorry to say I didn’t read before agreeing to the T&C’s…my bad…
Thanks again for your help!
