Hello @samgartland ! The track sounds rather unfinished (for many criteria: mastering, arrangement, selection of instruments, sound quality, etc.). You need to rework the entire track or write a new one. Listen to the top tracks https://audiojungle.net/page/top_sellers , gain experience.

Thank you for your feedback, how strick are AJ about re-submitting hard rejections once the track has been re-worked? would it have to be a completely new track or can I use the same general ideas to move forward?
Only if the track is significantly different(very changed) from the track which, you were rejected.
