First Cinematic Trailer

Hey Guys,

I’m trying out a short cinematic track and I would like to know what you guys think. Could you see this as a trailer track?

Sounds interesting - I personally would have deep / sub drum hits to accentuate the rhythm and give presence. IMHO.

Send me the file with the BPM and I shall have a play!

I like that track, nice work! Thanks for the advice, I’ll take it into consideration. Maybe I’ll layer a sub kick with my orchestral bass drum to give it that extra oomph.

I think it’s really cool!!! Good luck!!! :+1:

Thanks a lot!

I think it’s cool but -4,2 RMS it’s a bit too much. And Yes, deep / sub drum hits to accentuate the rhythm would be nice. You need climax if it’s cinematic trailer, you need dynamics and with -4,2 RMS you just not going to get it. Once again, good work!

Cool, yeah I could probably lay off the limiter a bit. Maybe I’ll do some more bus mixing to bring out the dynamics before heading back to the master track. Thanks a lot, Robert!

Oh it’s nothing! My pleasure! Keep up the good work!

I would have put an 8th note dynamic drum or sub from the beginning, low in the mix, just to give an impression that it’s more fluid running (rhythm is a bit chopped off now IMHO). Once it gets going, I think it sounds very epic, I hope to do some trailers also some day. Very good work!

Peter.

Thanks Peter, good advice!

Hey Matty, great idea. Well done!

I’m missing the low punch as well. Try it and/or take the help from Epic-Maestro Graham. Can’t hurt.
I’m curious about the final version. Good luck with it!

Hi MattyFrench !

That library has used?

I don’t understand your question.

I’ll send you the file with bpm today or tomorrow, I’d like to get your take on it!

Sorry, sound library

Oh which library did I use. East West Symphonic Orchestra. I highly recommend it.

Ok, Wow… thanks a lot
