Finally registering my portfolio on Identifyy...

from 2 years ago I had a catalog of about 300 instrumentals + few production tracks registered in identifyy, monthly it generated a < 1000 $ and these tracks were registered for about a year.

One day I couldn’t log in to my account, it turned out that without any notification they disabled my account (just banned me), I tried to explain it, I wrote to the support, I wrote to the e-mail, I wrote to consumer rights in my country, I reported a fraud on BBB, without a reply from identifyy, they simply closed the account with all my generated money .

The sum was not huge, but if it were a few thousand dollars, I would have gone to court a long time ago.

Probably what can I conclude by myself, because I did not get any explanation from them for reason of closing my account, propably their system associated my track with another track (e.g. drum loop used, backing melody loop from splice) and that was a sufficient reason to rob me of money i earn them, so pay attention to it if you register a large number tracks, watch out for samples, especially melodic ones

There are little few alternatives available on the market, but it is also worth taking a look at Airbit (its beat marketplace, to be honest dead marketplace, but their CID system works with every type of music), they take 20% commission instead of 30% like identifyy + you can manually release and set claims (2 years ago there was no such possibility for Identifyy yet, you had to write to the support).

From what i know airbit do not monetize FB & IG, if someone could share what percentage of his royalties income are from IG,FB I would be grateful

edit:

the only thing that I managed to fight with them is the removal of my catalog (in terms they can monetize it for 3 years from what i remember, it doesn’t matter if you got this money or not) because after banning my account for almost a month they further monetized the use of all previous claims + they set up new and best of all all my “exceptions” ceased to apply in a second, which violated my cooperation, contracts with many “serious” brands and artists
