I was a member of the affiliate program and received funds as usual, last month for some reason the payment did not come, and now I see this, what is the matter and how can you justify this? Maybe you will disable me as an author too, because Russia attacked us?!
Hi @nzhuravchak. I’ve asked our Affiliate Programs manager for more information on this. Envato does not have any policy that would block payments to Ukraine.
There are many payment restrictions between banks and other payment providers though, which may be causing this issue. If you haven’t already done so, please open a support ticket - the Affiliates team might need more information from you to help troubleshoot this one.
Thanks for the intervention, maybe this is a limitation of the impact service? I use the same payment service as on envato, through an American bank on pioneer, and I am fine with envato. Please tell me which of the supports to write to, or provide a mail or a link, thanks!
I have already written to Impact support 3 times (10/25, 11/7 and 11/15). Still no answer. Payoneer does not block payments, I checked. This seems to be an internal Impact decision. @emile_b, @BenLeong, please help solve this issue.
The issue you’re experiencing is related to Impact.com, not Envato. According to Impact.com guidelines, if you are affected by this banner, you need to contact Impact.com’s compliance team. Have you reached out to the Impact compliance team at compliance@impact.com?
@baevox no, but i will, thanks for the info, I’ll try to find out something from them
@nzhuravchak You are always welcome
Stay strong and stay safe.
hi. I have the same banner and I live in Ukraine. I wrote to impact support and have not received a response yet. I still have not received payments this month.
@kern8 Have you reached out to the Impact compliance team at compliance@impact.com?
Hi all. We don’t have any more information about this - it appears to be a policy decision from Impact itself. For those who have already contacted Impact’s support team, please use this thread to share more information if you get any answers that can help other people who are affected.
Other types of Envato payments (e.g. Market and Elements Author earnings) will not be affected by Impact’s policy in any way.
I’m going to move this thread from the Video area to the general Author Hangout, as there may be people outside the video category who are looking for more information on this issue.
I contacted Impact support, but the response was not very helpful:
Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and the associated restrictions imposed by governments and financial institutions in the U.S. and globally, we are busy discussing internally regarding processing of funds on Ukranian accounts.
Please allow us until next week, and we will contact you once we have further news for you then.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Impact Compliance Team
I continued the conversation, I’ll let you know if there are more useful answers
That was a good time when Envato had its own affiliate program, but after that Impact switch with scary links, I’ve bring many customers to Envato but lost a lot of additional cache… well… Stay strong guys and keep the pressure on Impact.
Hi,
I’m in the same situation. I’m from Ukraine and received the same notification.
I created a ticket on Impact.com on November 5, but I haven’t received a reply yet.
Currently, I have Ukrainian bank details.
What if I change the payment details to Payoneer? Has anyone tried this?
In that case, would they remove the restrictions, or do they base them on your location and the country you’re from?
It won’t help. I have a Payoneer. Support is still silent. Does anyone understand what’s going on? @emile_b, @BenLeong, please help solve this issue.
Withdrawals for Ukraine are suspended Impact.com. Support does not respond to tickets.
Important Account Notice
Dear impact.com partner,
As a result of the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, international governmental sanctions, restrictions imposed by financial institutions and/or other payment method constraints, impact.com is no longer able to process payments to your account.
As such impact.com is in the process of returning to brands eligible monies paid by brands that are reflected on your partner account. impact.com will be initiating the refunding process. Please engage with the brands directly to make arrangements for payment outside of the impact.com system for such refunded amounts.
Given the constraints that we face, impact.com will not be conducting any business with Ukraine for the foreseeable future.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
For more information and questions please reach out to compliance@impact.com
Best Regards,
impact.com Compliance Team
My affiliate money disappeared from my account. Can you send it directly to my Payoneer or Paypal? @emile_b, @BenLeong, please help solve this issue.
Sanctions and restrictions are for Russian institutions. Why would Impact put both sides on a same level and put sanctions and restrictions on Ukraine, the victim of the aggression?! It makes no sense and is highly suspicious. What’s going here?
@BenLeong @emile_b, Envato needs to clarify their stance on this unfair decision, and should seriously reconsider their relationship with a company that seems to have caved in to Russian interests. This is quite a serious ordeal!
I think that Envato should consider changing their affiliate system or reinstating the old one. Impact links face significant challenges, as they are not permitted on many advertising platforms like Google Ads and are blocked by numerous browser extensions, such as Ghostery.
Hey, Envato.
I have more than +15k links through the Impact to the Envato sites but by with this news I need to change them to the another websites what didn’t block Ukraine and stay away from politics.
Please inform us in short time what you guys plan to do with this.
