Can anyone tell me what “Entrances” means in regards to analytics?
I will explain it with an example. Let’s consider that for your item page stats show:
Pageviews=20 and Entrances=10
Case-A:
If a user reaches your item page from any search engine or a referrer then both values will be incremented.
Pageviews=21 and Entrances=11
Case-B:
If a user reaches your item page from another page of Envato Market then only Pageviews will be incremented.
Pageviews=21 and Entrances=10
In simple words, “Entrance” means the page which served as an entrance point to a website (Envato market in this case).
