How this will affect Envato and authors if dollar fall continues?
Will earnings now be even smaller for those authors who convert dollars in another currencies
or will sales increase because of “cheap” dollar?
Maybe authors should consider raising prices in this situation. Envato Elements should consider this as well.
Are you talking about USD/EUR rate? Because for the rest of the currencies, it’s still OK.
I talk about USD/EUR rate and those currencies connected to EUR. Don’t know for other currencies but I guess if dollar value falls it must affect all.
Where I live, it’s quite uncertain. Some economists predict the dollar could remain relatively stable, at least for this year while others say that, given recent US policies, it might drop significantly. If that happens, it would be yet another terribe blow to authors from these latitudes…

Worlds economy is built on USD, there may be some up and downs, of course ( if you remember, EUR was down less than USD for a while ) but it’d be stable soon. At least another year or two, USD should be trust-able but BRICS will definitely change it in long-run.

In 2018, 2020 and 2021 it was much worse for USD/EUR ~ 0.81
It was much worse for USD currency exchange but this time it is much worse on market sales itself. (No matter how strong dollar is.)
Everything is going against the authors. I am more worried about the absence of solutions which Envato/Shutterstock should bring to the elements/market. So far 0 hope imo.
