Codecanyon Rejected My SAAS Restaurant Ordering System – Need Feedback

Hi everyone,

I recently submitted my multi-restaurant SAAS web application “Restaurant Order Website + POS” to both Codester and Codecanyon.

:white_check_mark: Codester approved it without any issues.
:cross_mark: Codecanyon rejected it with this message:

“Thank you for your submission. We have completed our review of ‘Restaurant Order Website + POS [SAAS]’ and unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again.”

I had included:

  • A full working demo
  • Installation guide and documentation
  • Clean and tested UI/UX

Can anyone with experience on Codecanyon reviews give insight into:

  • What quality standards might I have missed?
  • Are there any design, code structure, or documentation issues I should focus on?
  • Any tips for meeting Codecanyon’s expectations?

Any feedback would be appreciated — I want to improve this product and possibly repackage or enhance it for future marketplaces.

Thanks in advance!

Hello: sorry your design is not more quality standard for ready sell, your need more quality like professional codecanyon will to approved your design, regards.

messy footer:

Standards between envato and other marketplaces are vastly different.

With respect this is not ready for here and feels very unfinished.

Navigation does not really do much e.g. About is unclear and Contact does not do anything

Design and styling is very outdated and off the shelf

It feels like a lot is missing e.g. there is a cart but no profile registration or login

Needs alternative menu layouts, offer pages, etc. etc.

What is the relationship to the backend/Admin platform? Is this just a front end example for that platform? You cannot sell subscriptions to your separate app via envato

At the checkout page, without entering the contact details or selecting Order Method i can still proceed by just selecting the payment method..

Make use of contact forms validations.
