Hello. I’m a newbie to Envato Elements and video editing. I recently downloaded a pack of like and subscribe alpha channel stock animations. They unzipped and I can find the files, however I can not import them to iMovie (says no importable files). When I downloaded them, I entered a project name for licensing. Is there a step that I am missing? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

iMovie supports MOV files that use MPEG-4 and H.264 codecs only. If your MOV files contains codecs other than these two, you’ll be failed to import MOV to iMovie. That’s the reason why iMovie says it supports MOV, but can’t open your MOV files for editing. It’s all about the codec incompatibility. Therefore, you can either convert MOV to MP4/MOV with the MPEG-4 or H.264 codec or use a video editor compatible with your MOV files.
