Cannot Upload the ZipFile on Wordpress

Hello, I need help uploading the zip file on WordPress. We purchased a theme and the zip file contains the Purchase code and the Item ID but we cannot use the theme on the website.

I Downloaded the Envato Market plugin and connected the Envato account to the Wordpress Website using the API token. This is the message that I got Your OAuth Personal Token has been verified. However, there are no WordPress downloadable items in your account.

I also tried to use the Single Item Tokens (Advanced) I entered the client’s API Token and tried to use the Item ID and the purchase code but this is what I got. The Token or Item ID is incorrect.

This was my last resort as I have tried the following options:

a.) upload the file normally via the Appearance->Themes
b.) Downloaded the plugin Template Kit Import via Template->Saved Template->Import Template
c.) Downloaded the plugin Envato Elements via Elements->Installed Kits->Upload Template Kit
d.) I have already installed Elementor and this is what I did. Elementor->Tools->Import Kit
e.) Uploaded the json files individually as uploading the zipfile would result to an error. The font and other elements won’t load properly but the Layout of the site is copied correctly. I already disabled the default fonts and other options on Elementor so there is no conflict but it is still the same.

This is the Error that I’ve got when I tried to upload the file:

Template Kit Install Error
There was an issue installing this template kit. Please try again.
Please upload a valid Template Kit zip file

and uploading it via theme would result in style.css being missing.
there is no CSS on the file so it is a template.

these are the contents of the zip file

Inside the elements folder are the JSON files.

Based on the images that I uploaded. how do I upload these files correctly on my WordPress Website?

Also, I didn’t include the PDF and the text file on the images. but it was also included when I extracted the zip file. the Item ID and Purchase Code were on the text file.

I will be eternally grateful for any help.
Thanks.

What is the item name and link?

Hello, I would like to ask if it is necessary for me to give the link and the name of the theme. It was purchased. the zip file has no style.css and I also downloaded and activated the required plugin but it is not working.

It matters to determine if it is actually a WordPress theme or kit.

The screenshot above has ‘Brave HTML documentation’ which sounds like this Brave - Multi-Purpose HTML5 Template by pophonic | ThemeForest which is NOT a WP theme and therefore will never work on WordPress.

You also have no buyer badge on this account so presumably you downloaded this from Elements rather than buying an individual item?

Hello, I need help uploading the zip file on WordPress. We purchased a theme and the zip file contains the Purchase code and the Item ID but we cannot use the theme on the website.

I said We in my statement. We are a team and I was tasked to install it on the website.

The name of the Zip is Website Template 2023xxxxxxxx and extracting the zip files shows
themeforest-XxxXXXxx-name-xxxx-xxxxx-elementor-template-kit

this is the information in the file. it is actually a kit.

Opening the Brave File that you pointed out opens up the Help page and unfortunately, I have followed the instructions there but it was futile.

The missing CSS error typically means either it’s not a WP theme/kit OR you are trying to install the incorrect folder rather than just the theme or kit one.

Without the full details there is only so much advice to offer. I would suggest using this plugin Template Kit – Import – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org English (UK)

I have also tried that plugin I went to Tools->Template Kit and then I uploaded the Zip File there

This is also the debug details

I’m confused, The debug details states “INVALID” when it was actually a valid purchase and It was also downloaded directly. can you please enlighten me more about this?

Ask the author - they will be best placed to advise on how to make it work. Make sure you are using the purchasing account.

Hi @naivevvx,

Have you checked the following:

How to use the Envato Elements WordPress Plugin to Install Elementor Template Kit

How to use the Template Kit Import plugin from Envato to Install Elementor Template Kits

Thanks

If it were me - I would zip the ‘templates’ folder up and try installing that

It is still the same. I even included the manifest.JSON but it is also not working.

“Please upload a valid template kit” same error I posted earlier.

I tried to connect the account but it says Invalid API Token on the Envato Elements

But I am connected to the Envato Market Plugin. Is this a different platform or something? the API Token works on Envato Market but it says invalid on Envato Elements.

Envato Elements provide a subscription based service for unlimited downloads where Envato Market (like themeforest, codecanyon, graphicriver, videohive, audiojungle, photodune ) is marketplace to sell individual items. In envato market there is no subscription service. Those are different platform.

go to your envato elements account Settings page there you will find ‘License’ box where you will find ‘Enter License Code’ click on that button. It will open a popup where you will need to enter your token to verify your susbscription.

in the popup (Verify your Envato Elements Subscription) there is a link (bottom of the field) “Follow this link to generate a new envato elements token”. So, it is only elements side (for using only in envato elements subscribed account) token and it will not work at your customer side. This token can use to verify elements subscription and only can use in subscribed account in envato elements.

Thanks

We solved the issue and we successfully installed the theme kit on our website. Thank you so much for your support and also to charlie4282
