Author asking to buy new license or extend support (cost same as new license) to change domain

Hi,

I have an license php script valid to use in one domain. Now I want to use the script in a new domain and requested author to release the license to my previous domain so that I can use in my new domain.

Author says, I should have a valid support contract (US$ 73) to make this request.

Honestly I can’t understand this. I have a valid license. I want to use in only ONE domain. Usually we get an option to deactivate old domain to activate in new domain. But in this case, that feature is not available and the author is asking to pay for support. I don’t need product support. I just need my license to use.

I cannot find any Envato support contact details to fix this.

How can this be fixed?

You need a new licence for each domain.

Hi, I read the license information and while it says that you can’t use a single license on multiple projects it says nothing about transferring licenses to a new domain.

Here it says it’s possible to do:
