I just started my youtube channel with my music portfolio… I think this should help a little bit … 
At the same time, I just started to write a blog and when I post something, I put there a link of my track from my portfolio with a little explanation about my experience and learnings around this composition.
As far as I read, if you publish with some constancy, you got more visibility… for now, I have a little number (12) of producers subscribed on my channel… it’s all about patience and constancy… and never give up!
I also recently started to compose and explore in some different and unfamiliar genres to me… and I enjoy this!
