Hi AJ inhabitants. Here is another topic regarding rejected track.
As many others this one was rejected with explanation “This item does not meet the general commercial quality standard required to be accepted on AudioJungle, unfortunately.”
Rejected track
I would very much appreciate you help in understanding whether the problem is in composition, recording/playing quality, arrangement, production(most likely:))
Any details you can share you think appropriate will be also very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Cool track! But it sounds too raw and i think that the lack of mastering was the case…i mean, while i listen to it, i have a feeling i am at rock concert in a small pub). It doesnt sound bad, just lacks clarity and that “record” feeling.
Just my thoughts, all the best!
yeah I agree with @PhreaSpirit, it’s got a cool kinda “bar band” vibe to it and it probably could work as incidental music or something in another marketplace but when you are submitting for AJ you really need to go in with a “polished until it’s shiny” attitude in terms of tightness of performance, mixing and mastering. This is very loose and gritty, not saying that in a bad way, but it definitely doesn’t really “fit in” with a lot of what is here.
Thanks a lot for the feedback to you both, PhreaSpirit and orbiterred. This gives an idea where to look
