Hi,
I have uploaded a package website + android app
and they rejected the app saying
java.net.URISyntaxException: Illegal character
Same code issue, please try to run your app from a new computer. You will see your wrong paths
The reason this error occurs is that there is a space in the api url and my URL is just fine
final static String BASE_URL = “https://www.site.com/realestate/”;
I test my app on different simulators and samsung devices
I just can think they put their own url with some extra space and saw it is not working
I even uploaded the release apk file with my files which works fine
even installed on another system and works fine
what should I do
I have no idea!
You need to fix the problem and send it again
the point is that there is no such a problem they says
tested everywhere
I even submitted it to google play and it is now live and accepted
I am now looking for other android developer to check my code
There is another error they say my screenshots have
- Please make sure your screenshot's resolution is complying with the following standards, we've detected incorrect resolutions in some of the images (these images are shown to the customers after clicking the 'screenshots' button below the main preview image).
Portrait: from 700px to 900px high.
Landscape: a minimum resolution of 1280px x 720px (width x height) and an aspect ratio of 16:9 is required.
After performing the changes, while uploading the files, add versions and avoid uploading the files as the same name before. There’s a cache issue on Envato server and they ( reviewers ) don’t get the updated files. ( I had this issue before, too )
Add versions: preview100.zip / preview101.zip / pack100.zip / pack101.zip etc… Each time
I have noticed that and I have renamed my new files with version number like v1,v2
I am not sure which files they have reviewed since each time I ask them they return the same answer to me
I am going to upload a new version tonight and see what happens
Add the note that you uploaded the files as “v1/v2” and if they are still seeing the old file, it’s cache issue.

Look I just have one base_url path which DOES NOT contain a white space
the url I posted was exactly the same url i posted herE
I hav eit working on google play store
maybe they are replacing it with their own url and put a white space
I am really confused.
since they do not specify exactly the error line
this error only occurs if there is a white space in this path
is there any reviewer or admin so that I can send them my code so that they check
I think they are not checking the code at all
I even explained all of these in the review form for them
I can even send you the android app code to check
Probably. It’s called “testing”
There’s an issue when they change the BASE_URL and you will have to figure it out the way how to solve the problem. If adding white space is causing the issue, you will need to add extra code to fix the problem as this is a template. Users may add “White space” and you cannot just ask them not to use it.
Your reviewer has checked the code and found the problem. Just do the Google search and see how other people solved the problem. And remember, you’re creating ( selling ) templates as you’d have to think all of the possibilities that the users/buyers may approach.

so they finally hard rejected the app
just for the reason I did not mention the sdk path in my help file and they even did not bother to guide or tell me this each time they rejected the app it’s really funny
is there any way I can resubmit?!
if not thanks for wasting my time as a 12 year old developer on codecanyon
Here is the feedback from our review team:
- I understand we can change the SDK path, but the customer will not; your documentation does not mention it. And I can’t approve your item in the current state.
Unfortunately, we cannot keep going around in circles explaining the same issues repeatedly, so I’m sorry to say, we are at the point where we have no choice but to HR this item.
We appreciate the effort and time you’ve put into creating your item. And we’d be happy to help make sure your next entry will meet our submission requirements. Here’s our advice:
It’s not their responsibility as they have already asked several times to fix the problem. You shouldn’t be re-submitting the item. Contact Envato support and request help.
They did not specify the error for several times after 2 or 3 times they said wrong path
second where is the contact form for support!
is this the link!
Contact Envato support and request help
They had. Yes, that is the link
it is not why they rejected it was becuase of the documentation and the sdk path
i fixed the illegal error(which did not happen anyway)
I forgot to mention this
Thank you for your submission. We have completed our review of “Real Full Android app + .Net website” and unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again.

I contacted the support team
