Hello

I wanted to develop WordPress themes and sell on themeforest, I’ve developing knowledge of HTML but is there any difference between HTML template developing and WordPress theme development if it is then please redirect me to an Article or Video where I can get to it straight & also please provide some links of resources for developing themes (Like images, icons etc…) for WP.

There is NO guarantee, that if your HTML is approved your WP is also get approved

As @wpcohort said there is no guarantee if one is accepted then so will the other.

That said , if you are comfortable in HTML then you are almost certainly better off starting with HTML - it’s much easier and will help you gauge the basics of submitting files and what it takes to be approved.
