Very nice idea - but it is still not going to help me find new themes. The theme can look amazing but if the sales are very low then authors tend to abandon them meaning any bugs will not get fixed.
You need a author reputation gauge too.

Thank you so much for your thoughts. You’re right, we were already thinking about finding a way to add the newest themes before the following month they’ve been launched. Maybe we add a “New Themes” section and add the themes as we pick them during the month.
In fact, we (authors) HAVE TO fix the bugs once they are realized. Otherwise the customer can ask for a refund and gets him money back. Believe me, for authors, it’s a nightmare to lose the money already in our pockets.
We’re planning to create an “Author Chart” that you’ll able to monitor how many times a specific author’s themes have been selected, the most active category that the author in, TOTM awards, AOTW awards etc. Hope the customers will benefit of it in long term

Thank you for your interest but we’re planning to select the themes that have been added after 1 November 2017. Zass is out of consideration because of this. And Rigid theme was on our shortlist but it couldn’t make it. This definitely does not mean that your theme is not qualified. It already has 340+ sales!
We’re just planning to keep WPSelected very refined according to our own taste and the number of themes low.
We’ll be watching your next themes!
