WPbakery page builder deactivated - can't activate and can't update

I have WP bakery page builder as a bundled premium plugin through Betheme. For some reason, the plugin was deactivated. That entirely crashed my website.

The ‘activate’ link is missing. Now it says I have to update from 6.6.7 to 6.7. I cannot wait endlessly for Betheme to include that update in the next theme update. Does someone know how to handle that?
