WP Bakery Page Builder: Update to 5.7 not working

We got Visual Composer, now WP Bakery Page Builder, bundled with our theme on WordPress. We have not had trouble updating till the latest version. The current version, 5.6 now has a more recent version 5.7 and when we try to update it refuses with the message that the wrong URL has been provided. Can anyone help us figure out what has happened and how to correct it? We still need this plugin because our home page has been built using it.

Theme Bundled plugins do not have their own licenses. This means they cannot be activated for updates.

All bundled plugins update responsibility is the theme’s author. So you can safely ignore any plugin activation messages. Just always download the theme latest version to get latest update plugins.
