Wordpress demo/light version in wordpress.org

Hi,

I’m wondering if is possible to have a demo/light version of my plugin/theme in wordpress.org ?
Is it against Envato rules? or against wordpress.org? Of course i’m selling the full version only in Envato, and purchase link will follow to Envato store.

How can I upgrade in light to pro version.

it is allowed. many authors are already doing it. both wp.org and envato allows it.
