Why my first design rejected by the envato?

Sorry for I say to you that your design is too basic, you need more quality design for approved themeforest but below lists errors.

• Colors

• Typography

• Spacing

• margin & padding

• Old design

• More…

You need to practice more design and you can see other examples in ThemeForest approved.
