Why I only get $32 from $104 sales?

Hello Everyone, I hope you all are doing great in your life.

SO recently I started selling on videohive and to learn this platform I uploaded only 1 item. There is no doubt that I learnt a lot of things through this forum and by making some mistakes but one thing which is really bothering me and that is,

“I GOT 4 SALES AND MY PRICE IS $26 WITH REGULAR LISCENECE SO MY FOR 4 SALES MY TOTAL VOLUME IS $104 BUT IN MY EARNINGS I SEE THAT I ONLY GET $32, IS THIS RATE NORMAL OR DID I HAVE TO SETUP SOMETHING”

there is one more thing which I am not getting i.e. Author Fee for Sale($7)

I will be glad if anybody know about this thing :slight_smile:

Hi @Alpha-Studio,

Check your statements page, maybe those sale are from us customer and US withholding tax has taken from your earning.

( Item List Price - Buyer fee ) = Item Price
( Item Price - TAX ) - Author fee = Author Earning

Check your Author fee here:

Check potnetially Us withholding tax depending on where you are based:

Your item is at $26.

$26 - $6 = $20 (After Buyer fee)
$20 x (37.5 / 100) = $7.5 (Authur Fee)

So, $26 - ($6 - $7.5) = $12.5

  • You get $12.5 for a normal sale.

If a sale is from USA, there will be an extra tax.

$20 x (30 / 100) = $6 (US Witholding Tax)
So, $12.5 - $6 = $6.5

  • You get only $6.5 for a US sale.

You received $32 for 4 sales,

which means,
You got 1 sale outside US. ($12.5)
You got 3 sales in US. ($6.5 x 3)

So,
$12.5 + ($6.5 x 3) = $32
