We’re currently looking into some of the key agency metrics and KPIs we should keep an eye on. For example, I saw “profit margin per project” and “client retention rate” being mentioned a lot. For agency owners, what metrics do you track, and how do they impact your business decisions? Basically, we’d love to hear some real-world insights.
Brand equity eg web traffic, social engagement, online mention, awards, competitor benchmarking etc
Lead generation eg new client wins, existing client retention, lead generation by source/campaign, conversion rate
ROI and revenue eg revenue by source eg new business, existing retainer growth, what type of work, what type of client etc. cost per lead, billable resourcing, etc.
