My friend (webmaster) bought a theme for me on themeforest with his own account but now we have to transfer the license of the theme to my own account.
How can we do it?

There is no way to transfer license from one account to another account.

As @unlockdesign said - transferring is. It an option but they could use envato’s plugin and setup a token so that you can still get updates etc. https://envato.com/market-plugin/
