I was wondering today. Last few months, my sale was not good. I am earning what I was earning with 3-4 products in the last 2 years; now, the same figure with 9 products. However, I totally understood that the current market is not like before. But I can see some extra traffic all the time when Envato announces the sale. This time, I cannot see any additional sale traffic. Even my item was 50% off. Anybody faced this issue?
I request all codecanyon authors to check their traffic.
If it continues, how will authors survive on this platform? Envato should understand this. It’s my humble request.
Thanks @ki-themes for sharing this. I have already read this post. I know this is not like previous years. Sales are going down year on year. We need a solution for this. I have decided. It’s my hard decision, but I am writing here publicly. If upcoming months sales are not looking good. I will say goodbye to Envato. I always thank Envato for initial decent sales.
They will be offering/suggesting to promote your own items to get more traffic.
As it’s been stated few times on the “low sale” post by Envato, they are focusing on Elements.

And Envato Market doesn’t even show up on google ads anymore…nice… keep it rolling, and you will loose all your authors in one day, not sure you care about that anymore…

Then, What about code-selling authors? I got a reply to this report, They told me to opt for Elements. But, how? As a Code seller, I cannot opt for elements. Also, they agreed that the “Envato Marketplace is steadily declining in sales”. I believe the decline happened because of poor marketing strategies.
