Honestly guys I wonder which answer you expect from Envato…
Maybe something like “ooookay, no problem, we are gonna close Elements to move again towards authors-dependent and unstable incomes”? 
We can only focus on existing successful products and try to get a recurring income out of existing customers. The code industry business model is based on yearly licenses because of the extreme WP products saturation: is impossible to get continuous fresh customers nowadays.
Good old “create-upload-weDoTheRest” times with marketplace is over since late 2020
(and that’s why I had to create my license-tracking solution)
