Referring an author/seller?

Hello,

I have a question: does affiliate/referral program apply if I refer a person that starts selling on Envato?

Do I get the cut from his/her sales?

Hi,

When a new user clicks your referral link, signs up for an account and purchases an item (or deposits money) via any of the Envato Market sites, you will receive 30% of that person’s first cash deposit or purchase price. If they deposit $20 into their account, you get $6. If they buy a $200 item, you get $60.

So shortly, there is not really such thing as a affiliate program for sales from a “new” author you referred, it only applies when a buyer you referred buys something or if he/she will deposit money to their Envato account.
