Product Documentation, seeking clarifications on items

I have a product I intend to sell on envato. I understand that we must include either html or pdf documentation along side the product.

I use a custom cms for managing the product documentation for easy versioning, change log etc.

Now I want to create a pdf with a link to the product documentation hosted online .

Is this allowed?

yes, it is allowed. but for codecanyon offline documentation is better and reviewer may ask it.
