problems installing wordpress theme

wordpress

#1

I purchased a Theme and am unable to install it. Once I have unzipped the theme & try to upload it into wordpress, I get an error message that says “Are you sure you want to do this” Please try again. Trying to upload it again results in the same error message. I have gone through the help centre to try to resolve this issue and I am still unable to resolve it. Can you please help me to resolve this issue

This error often times means that your internal WordPress upload limit is not sufficient enough to accomodate the size of the file your are attempting to upload. You need to either increase your upload limit first, or simply upload the theme folder manually via FTP directly to your server.

Why should I have to order additional services to install the theme that I
purchased? Is there no way I can install the theme without purchasing
additional support? If not, how do I go about getting a refund?

#7

Because, this is a forum for general discussion, not for theme support. You should contact the theme author to get some free support but I’m pretty sure that he/she won’t be able to provide any regarding to what you’re having is not related with the theme, it’s related to your hosting service.

@Tekanewa has already suggested the things that you should do, if you don’t know how to follow these suggestions, you need to hire someone for to fix the issue.

About refund, 99% of the change, there’s nothing wrong with the theme and just because of you’re not able to install it, I’m pretty sure the author won’t agree refunding the amount

That Is a hosting issue as others said. If you install the theme via FTP the. You shouldn’t have an issue.

Installation of themes is not covered as standard in envato’s regular support policy.
