I’m new to WordPress and I’ve recently bought ThemeForest The7.
I have a message saying:
Important notice : You have an outdated version of The7 theme. For better compatibility with The7 Elements plugin it is required to [update the theme].
But the link actually only refreshes my page (the link is redirecting to my WP dashboard / themes). I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with this? I have no problem updating any other features on WP, so I’m really confused with this…

I followed the steps and then, I got this message:
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. [adress]
Theme installation failed.
And the message
Important notice : You have an outdated version of The7 theme. For better compatibility with The7 Elements plugin it is required to [update the theme].
remains… It’s getting very confusing… 
My opinion get in touch with Item author @Dream-Theme hope they will help you out from your issue.

Feels more and more like a bug 
(says it’s not up-to-date but the link goes back to my page and when I try to reinstall, it IS up-to-date…)

I am getting same message it very annoying. It’s must be a bug. There are lots on new plug in update it does not let upgrade.
