This idea has been touched on in different forum discussions. However, I believe it is important enough to reinvigorate the topic. Understanding the frequency of “Preview Downloads” or “Live Preview Demos” can be very informative to each author. There is a missed opportunity if we aren’t able to understand this metric that more closely reflects a buyer’s level of interest in a product. That is why we need to ask Envato to add this type of metric to the Analytics Tool found on the Items Page.
