Native Church theme, please what is the latest version on the wordpress?. I noticed it is 2.9.1

Also, i noticed PHP 7.9 is outdated. But PHP version 8.0 does not work when Native Church theme is active

If you’re talking about this one, it supports PHP 8.0, you just need to update the theme ( maybe manually )

Are there steps on how to update the theme manually?

It means, i need to purchase the new theme version 4.4 to replace the current free version 2.9.1 on the WordPress. Is this approach correct?

From 2.9 to 4.4, there may be some core changes. Get a backup first and go for it. If it’s broken, you could restore the backup

You don’t need to purchase the theme again, you can just go to ThemeForest > Download section and download the “latest” theme.
