Hi, I’m quite lost in licensing of music on Envato and Audiojungle.
I’ve found a song that I want to use in my game and I can see that it probably can be downloaded with Envato monthly membership and also it can be bought on Audiojungle with item license where it is quite more expensive.
I would like to ask what is the difference and is it possible to use downloaded music from Envato in commercial mobile game published on android and apple store or do I need license from Audiojungle.
Envato is the company that owns both Elements (the subscription service) and Audiojungle.
Music downloaded off Elements cannot be TV broadcast nor theatrically released. But for video games, it’s fine.
Thing is, the subscription grants you access to the music available on Elements, not Audiojungle. Only a small fraction of the Audiojungle catalogue can be found on Elements.
