Inquiry About WordPress Plugin Submission Status

Hello,

I recently submitted my WordPress plugin to CodeCanyon, but I have not received any updates regarding its approval status. This is my first time submitting a plugin, so I am unsure if there is a specific process I should be following or if there might have been an issue with my submission.

Here are the details of my submission:

Plugin Name: Before & After Wordpress plugin
Submission Date: 10. jun 2024
Envato Account Username: arnautcode (I changed my username, previously it was arnautovic)

I have checked my email (including the spam/junk folder) but have not received any communication from CodeCanyon. I am keen to understand if my submission has been received successfully and what the current status is.

Could you please provide me with an update on my plugin’s approval status or let me know if there are any additional steps I need to take?

Where can I see the current status of my submission? I can’t find any information about whether it has been rejected or is in the process of being accepted.

Thank you for your assistance and I look forward to your response.

Best regards,
Marko

Hi,

If you can’t see your Item in your Dashboard and ‘Hidden Items’ tab page then your Item has reviewed and got hard rejected. You must should receive email of the review result (if not Unchecked the ‘Item review notifications’ in your Settings => Email Settings):

Sometimes email can go in spam, so need to check inbox, spam, junk as well.

Thanks

Thanks for answer!

Is there a possibility to see why it was rejected so that I can fix the issue and submit it again?

Check your hidden items. If there’s nothing there, it’s the generic rejection message, reviewers do not provide details for those rejected “hard”

Just one question, can’t you use images from freepik? I don’t see another problem.

This is demo plugin:

Can someone give me advice, so that I can change what is wrong and set it up again?

There are already some plugins offering the same feature, as you don’t even need to achieve a plugin for that purpose. I think you should find better idea.

No plugin is made BEFORE & AFTER as a custom post type, that’s why this plugin is better than any other.

Because when using see as a custom post type, it’s much easier, because people have their own categories, and it’s much better for SEO.

Is there any chance I can find out what the problem is?

Again, it’s not hard to achieve “BEFORE & AFTER as a custom post type” with a free plugin and few more min to spend on it, the plugin you’re trying to sell is not offering a premium feature, even though you state it has.

No. It’s the generic message.

Thank you for your submission. We have completed our review of “XXX” and unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again.
