Importing Revolution Sliders

I bought a theme packaged with the revolution sliders. I am having trouble importing a slider to my page. It says to locate the zip file for said slider. I locate the file no problem, but it is not ziped, and when I zip it and then select. it says “importing slider settings and data…Error: slider_export.txt does not exist!Go Back”

Help!

I believe revolution is no longer supported by quite a few themes. I had the same problem and lost my revolution slider content during upgrade. I moved to a layer slider instead.
