Hi @styleWish!
There hasn’t been any sudden cutover between spending money on Content incentives, and spending on customer growth - we’re still paying the Content Bonus for each revenue day until July 31, which will go out to Elements Authors in the September payment cycle. We have a lot of paid and organic marketing activities in the pipeline, but some of the resources to run these won’t be available until next month.
I think it’s important to emphasise that this is going to be a sustained shift, likely over at least the next few years: we’re reorienting away from building a content library as fast as we could, to making the existing library as valuable as possible by increasing the number of subscribers accessing it. That shapes where resources and budgets are allocated: we’ve spent several years pushing hard on the Supply side of things while Elements got started, and we’re now planning to do a lot more to grow the Demand side of that equation.
@Duck-Themes I saw your post about ThemeForest banners in another thread. There are a few changes going out this week, for CodeCanyon and ThemeForest - one of those is removing that banner from the checkout pages on both marketplaces.
