I have some question about exclusive badge

I want to sell exclusively on ThemeForest my domain is hugewordpress.com

I have some questions

Q1: I want to add free templates option on my website is it possible or Themeforest will remove my exclusive badge?

Q2: I want to sell other products on my domain that will not be available on my Themeforest portfolio is it possible?

Q3: I want to add blog posts on my domain and want a commission from Envato Market if a user buys any item from Envato Market.

Q4: Can I promote other companies’ products on my blog?

NOTE: I don’t want to lose the exclusive seller badge please guide me if anything is against Themeforest policy I will remove it from my website

Hi @HugeWordpress,

For an exclusive author:

  1. no, you can’t. but you are allowwed to upload lite version of WordPress theme/plugin in wordpress.org
  2. If it family product of your existing portfolio in envato market then no, you can’t.
  3. You have to join Envato market affiliate program. Here is Envato market affiliate program, you can join from here:
    https://envato.com/market/affiliate-program/
  4. You can.

Please check:

Thanks

Sorry, I didn’t understand this clearly. Let me clear my 2nd question “I just want to sell some other templates, freelancing services, and other digital assets and these items will not be available in my Themeforest portfolio. I will create a separate section of “Themeforest” in my website menu and those products only sell on Themeforest I will not charge directly for any product that is available in my ThemeForest portfolio”

Is it possible or I just have to show only Themeforest portfolio items on my website?

One More Question

If my domain only shows a blog to users (if a user opens hugewordpress.com then it will be a blog) is it allowed for exclusive sellers?

You can sell other items on your website as long as they are completely separate and different to anything you are selling on envato.

It doesn’t matter if your site is a blog etc.

You don’t need to get too hung up on all of these decisions at this point, especially as there are more details around many of them.

For example, with affiliates - you can’t just direct traffic to envato and earn. You need to be accepted to the affiliate programme (which with a site with low traffic and content will be very hard) and even then users need to have never visited envato before for their purchase to generate commission.

The point is that you need to focus on developing the product to the best level possible otherwise how/where you sell it will be irrelevant.

Thanks Charlie For Your Reply. Now everything is clear.
